What Residents Love About Water’s Edge

“A great place to call home.”

I love Water’s Edge! It’s peaceful and beautiful. The grounds are very beautifully kept up. In the winter they plow and salt. The walls are well insulated for heat and sound. Janet and the maintenance team are amazing! You get quick replies and friendly faces. The office holds cute events once a month for the residents. There is a well maintained pool and gym area. I don’t have a dog, but it is a pet friendly complex with a fenced in dog area and little trash bags available throughout the grounds. It’s so close to Downtown South Lyon. Which has some nice restaurants and a lot of community events. I highly recommend Water’s Edge if you’re looking for a great place to call home.

I’m going on 3 years now at Water’s Edge apartments. This is my first apartment experience. Let me say it has been a very good one. I live in the back buildings of the complex and it is especially quiet and peaceful. The complex is far enough off the main road so the only sounds I hear are the trees blowing in the wind and the birds singing. Here at Water’s Edge people stay for more than one year. It’s not one of those complexes that is like a revolving door. I see the same friendly smiling faces over the years with occasional new ones. It is also within walking distance of downtown South Lyon, where there are many city events.

Me and my partner are on our second year living here and will most likely continue to. We have lived in 2 different units and both were very nice especially for the price! The complex is very nice, the fenced in dog runs are great for our dog, and the garden plots in the back are so nice to have in the warmer months so you can still have a nice garden even in an apartment! Amberly and the rest of the staff here have been so wonderful, super friendly and any problems we had were fixed in a very timely manner. Can’t recommend this place enough, keep up the great work!

Thomas Inserra

I enjoy living here, management is good and tenets are properly vetted. My building is friendly, we wave, say hello and for the most part quiet. I walk my dog around here every day, Fonzie loves it. The maintenance supervisor is really good, so is the staff. They keep the place uber nice and clean. The location is awesome 😎 I am 71 and feel safe and secure 😊👌👍

My partner and I toured some apartments here and the grounds are very nice. Seems like a good and quiet place. The apartments we toured here were also very nice. They actually seem like they are probably too nice for our current place in life 😂. They have two floors and some of the apartments on the lower floors have huge bay windows with a sort of bench that could home a plethora of plants, cushions, or several cats (if you’re so inclined). I could see it as a lovely book nook as well. The kitchens are also quite impeccable across the board as far as apartment kitchens go. Plenty of counter space and storage.

Elizabeth Rusanchin

My husband and I love it here! Management is great! Super friendly and helpful. The view is beautiful. We’re right next to the train tracks, but you would never know it. The neighborhood is super peaceful and feels very safe. Our neighbors are friendly. There’s a gym and a pool that we like using. We often take a walk downtown because it is so close. Honestly couldn’t find a better place to live.
